Task 4.

I was shopping for my birthday dress last year and was looking for a specific kind of dress and wanted it to be white. I had searched everywhere to find the perfect dress and when I finally came to find one. The person who worked there was very cold and moody and didn't offer much help for sizes or giving some fashion advice or tips. In the end the manager took over her place and helped me and I had the dress I wanted!

Task 5.

When I was shopping for a new pair of jeans, I walked into the store and instantly was greeted and asked how I was. This showed to me immediately the enthusiasm and interest to help me. They then asked if I was looking for anything specific and whether they could help me at all and then soon enough we found the perfect pair of jeans! She even gave me a discount so she proved to me that she was showing very good quality customer service.

I believe my chosen photo represents suitable personal presentation standards for quality customer service, my reasons are as follow:
  • The woman is welcoming the customer with a smile this will make him happier to continue a conversation with her
  • She is interested and keen to help him which will allow him to be comfortable to ask her any questions he may have
  • Eye contact and full attention and consideration towards each other, this will allow the communication to be a smooth process and work well
  • The woman is dressed professionally and looks like she represents the business well
